We built 12ui because coding agents can ship a working product in an afternoon - and it will look like every other product shipped that afternoon. Code-first agents converge on safe, generic visual defaults. We wanted the other thing: real design direction, grounded in real references, at agent speed.
What 12ui is
12ui is a design pipeline in four tools. Design Search finds inspiration in a curated corpus of more than 23,000 high-quality design references. Design Draft turns a concept into candidate directions. Design Branch grows a chosen direction into a full set of screens. Design Convert turns any design image into a structured document and production code - responsive HTML, native app scaffolds, PDF, PSD, Sketch, and more.
The same pipeline is available to your coding agent through the skill and to your own tooling through the API. Image in. Structure out.

We are based in Port Douglas, Australia, where we build products from a place that still gives us room to think clearly.
12ui came out of a problem we kept running into with our own products: agents made shipping fast, but everything we shipped looked the same. Design was the last craft the tools could not carry. So we built the corpus, the pipeline, and the conversion engine we wanted for ourselves - a way to explore real visual directions, pick one deliberately, and keep its fidelity all the way into code.
